| PLEASE NOTE: This is a time-limited position with an anticipated duration of December 19, 2025 through May 1, 2026. The position may be extended depending on funding. Regular work hours for Spring semester are Sunday night through Friday morning, 11:30pm-8:30am; this schedule is changed during intersession, holidays, and other times when there are reduced hours and library closures
JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the Marston Science Library Access Services Unit, this position performs a variety of public service, supervisory, technical, and security roles in support of the Smathers Libraries 24-hour program and the Marston Science Library branch. Oversees access services responsibilities and the service desk and supervises student assistants during the overnight hours. Assists patrons in the use of library services, circulating tools and technology, and with computer-related problems. Directs shift change with the morning and evening staff members and with security assistants. Expectation of employment through completion of Spring 2026 semester; renewal contingent upon funding.

| The Florida Museum is seeking a full-time Fiscal Assistant II. This position will be responsible for providing purchasing and fiscal support to faculty, staff and students of the Florida Museum. This requires the individual to utilize UF's procurement systems including MyUF Marketplace, UF Go travel and expense module, and general journal functions in order to create purchase orders, pay invoices, and process travel and general reimbursements. The incumbent should have knowledge of cash-based, appropriated, sponsored project and UF Foundation funding. The ability to communicate effectively and professionally is essential.
