The University of Florida Veterinary Hospitals is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or Radiology Technician (ARRT) to join our Diagnostic Imaging team, primarily supporting the Cath Lab while assisting with other imaging modalities. This role works closely with faculty, residents, and hospital services to provide high-quality imaging and patient care.
The technician collaborates with faculty, residents, and the imaging team to produce optimal imaging results while maintaining patient safety and adhering to radiation safety protocols. While the majority of time is spent in the Cath lab, the technician will also assist in other diagnostic imaging modalities, such as CT and ultrasound, and participate in the on-call rotation for imaging services.
Success in this role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and effective communication with multiple hospital services.
This full-time, benefited position is considered essential personnel. A post-offer education verification, background check, and health assessment are required. |
