The Congenital Heart Center at the University of Florida invites applications for a highly qualified congenital cardiac surgeon for a non-tenure faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. The ideal candidate will be a skilled, ABTS-certified surgeon or equivalent with expertise across a full range of procedures, including neonatal surgery, complex congenital transplantation, and advanced adult congenital surgery. Our program emphasizes collaborative and constructive teamwork across multiple medical disciplines. The candidate should demonstrate adaptability, and a capacity to contribute beyond clinical duties in areas such as innovation, education, research, leadership, or enterprise growth. Clinical proficiency and strong teamwork skills are essential to uphold the highest standards. The successful candidate will be expected to perform the entire spectrum of pediatric cardiac surgery including neonates, adult congenital, mechanical circulatory support as well as heart transplantation. A demonstrable clinical record and desire to pursue clinical investigation and/or translational research is required.
