The successful candidate will work closely with faculty and other team members to develop novel therapies for patients with neurological and psychiatric disorders.
The OPS Medical Scientist will perform work central to the development of data analysis pipelines, supporting data analysis quality assurance, and troubleshooting. This team member will also assist in projects that relate to our ongoing cutting-edge research directions, including finite element modeling, positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MRI), magnetic resonance (MR) diffusion imaging, computed tomography (CT), and data visualization tools for neuroimaging. The individual will be expected to interact with other teams to facilitate program activities and to meet deadlines or resolve technical problems both independently and collaboratively. The OPS Medical Scientist will be expected to interact with students who work on relevant projects in data analysis methods.
The successful candidate must have strong technical skills with a background in medical imaging data analysis and excellent written and oral communication skills. The individual will work on the maintenance and execution of standard data analysis packages and on the development of unique data analysis and data visualization pipelines. This position requires creativity and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. |
