| Job Description: |
Business Career Services (BCS), within the Warrington College of Business is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Student Assistant to join the Employer Relations. This position supports the Employer Relations Team in all aspects of employer engagement including prospecting, market research, employer events, recruiting communications, and maintaining employer relationships.
The student will also assist the BCS team in providing valuable pre-event and event-day assistance for our student populations and employer recruiting events throughout the fall and spring recruiting seasons.
This position is a commitment of a minimum of 10 hours and maximum of 20 hours per week and will be in Hough Hall and Heavener Hall, in the Warrington College of Business. Additional hours may be available during busy times. Evening Employer events may occur where assistance is needed. Minimum commitment of one (1) academic year mandatory, with a preference for a student who can commit to two (2) back-to-back academic years.
Responsibilities / Job Description
- Conduct market and employer research, including targeted research on specific companies and industry trends
- Assist with managing and updating employer prospecting lists
- Assist the Employer Relations team with relationship management efforts in HIREWarrington, including notes and CRM updates
- Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of employer events, both virtual and on campus
- Host employers for evening events throughout the semester
- Assist with college wide recruiting events, including Warrington Career Expo and other recruitment initiatives
- Assist the Recruitment Coordinator with tasks such as preparing recruitment materials and supporting employers during on-campus visits
- Compile data from recruitment events and create presentations or summary reports to support employer relations decision-making
- Assist with employer job and event approvals in HIREWarrington
- Maintain a high level of customer service when interacting with employers, recruiters, students, and staff
- Assist in creating customized employer recruiting materials and outreach support
- Assist with routine front-office tasks including checking/responding to emails, checking mail, greeting visitors, and keeping the front desk tidy
- Support general BCS operations and collaborate with career coaches and team members as needed
- Other duties as assigned
