Job Description:

The Department of Pediatrics, Multidisciplinary Diagnostic & Training Program (MDTP) is actively accepting applications from Federal Work Study Students for a part-time student administrative assistant position. Successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, have good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team setting.

Duties to include:

  • Scan and file client records accurately and securely
  • Support program faculty and staff with tasks aligned to MDTP grant deliverables
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Expected Salary:

$14.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

This position is open to all University of Florida degree-seeking students registered at least half-time who are eligible to work on campus and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. A current Federal Work-Study award is required.

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Availability to work 10-15 hours per week
  • Commitment to remain in the role for at least one year, including Summer months
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Experience with Adobe and Microsoft preferred
