Job Description:

The Office of the University Registrar is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Registrar Services Coordinator I. In this role, you will support customer service interactions for the area and evaluate, compile and enter data related to the employee education tuition waiver programs, high school dual enrollment, distance learning, international studies, non-degree, transient, special programs and other non-traditional programs. The position also provides support for the enrollment certification process. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a strong commitment to customer service.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Customer Service Support:

  • Provide assistance primarily by email and occasionally by phone and in person to students, staff, and the public regarding academic records and university policies
  • Advise and support students with enrollment and registration, ensuring accurate communication of academic regulations

  • Monitor case management systems to maintain service levels

  • Support the OneStop team on Registrar-related inquiries

Application Processing:

  • Assist with processing applications for non-degree and tuition waiver programs, including:

    • Standard non-degree, special programs, distance education, high school dual enrollment

    • Employee Education Program, State Agency Employee Tuition Fee Waiver, Santa Fe-UF Employee Education Exchange

  • Coordinate with students, departments, UF Human Resources, and the University Bursar to ensure smooth processing

Enrollment Certification Support:

  • Support the enrollment certification process by completing necessary student forms and managing transient student documentation
  • Evaluate and edit enrollment data submitted to the National Student Clearinghouse to meet institutional and regulatory requirements

  • Assist in research by providing information for reports, projects, and correspondence

Other Duties:

  • Cross-trained to assist in room scheduling, commencement, grade processing, mail handling, and imaging during peak periods

  • Deliver outreach and training to campus departments on Registrar procedures

  • Recommend improvements to internal systems, processes, and recordkeeping

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

This position is located at the University of Florida's main campus in Gainesville, FL. The selected candidate will work on site and may be eligible for a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in accordance with the University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management's policies. 

Expected Salary:

$43,888 annually

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret university and Registrar policies, procedures, and academic regulations.
  • Ability to establish work priorities and coordinate the timely completion of work assignments.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, Gator360, and other student records systems.
