Assistant, Associate, Full Professor at the University of Florida. The Department of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Division of Hematology/Oncology. The candidate is expected to establish and maintain an energetic, independent research group, mentor graduate trainees, and establish collaborations with other laboratories in the Department and the wider institution.
The ideal candidate will hold an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD and have a proven record of research excellence, demonstrated by high-impact peer-reviewed publications and successful acquisition of extramural funding. Candidates with a strong commitment to advancing the academic community through research, teaching, and service are especially encouraged to apply. This position will be a part of the Center for Inflammation Science and Systems Medicine at the Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation and Technology located in Jupiter, FL.

Appointment Details
- Tenure-accruing and non-tenure-accruing tracks are available.
- Rank and tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements: |
Completion of an approved doctoral program. A strong background in cancer-related research demonstrated by a strong publication record and successful funding. In addition to research, candidate should have a strong commitment to teaching in an academic setting. If clinician-scientist, completion of an approved hematology/oncology fellowship program, board certification and/or eligibility, and eligibility to obtain an unrestricted Florida license is required.
