Job Duties Include:

Project Coordination: Assist in the preparation of project solicitations, documentation, reports, and presentations, supporting the team in managing space biomanufacturing initiatives.

Event Planning: Organize and support events, webinars, and workshops that bring together In Spa Bio Hub members and experts in the field of space biomanufacturing; support the annual Biomanufacturing symposium in September.

Communication Facilitation: Coordinate internal and external communications about seminars, solicitations, and events, ensuring clear and timely delivery of information across teams and partners. Provide updates to be placed on the website.

Administrative Support: Organize and maintain schedules and meetings for team members and leadership. Handle incoming communications and manage correspondence. Prepare standard grant templates and review budgets as needed.

Expected Salary:

$24.90/hour

Minimum Requirements:

AA degree in science or business-related field.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills and enthusiasm for space research a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

BA degree and experience in project coordination and communicating in team environment.

The University of Florida recognizes the value of telecommuting in fostering a flexible work environment; therefore, some consideration may be given to hybrid work after successful onboarding and training.

Occasional day travel to the University of Florida main campus in Gainesville, FL is expected.

This position will be a 0.5 FTE working approximately 20 hours per week.
