A Post-doctoral Associate in the Department of Astronomy is available to work with Dr. Elizabeth Lada to investigate the properties of star-forming regions in the LMC and Milky Way.
We have a position available in our group to work on multi-wavelength imaging and spectroscopic observations, data reduction, analysis, and modeling of star-forming environments. We are looking for an individual familiar with the Magellanic Clouds, young clusters, and experience working with near-infrared imaging and/or spectroscopic data.
Must have PhD in astronomy or physics. This position will be initially awarded for one year, and, contingent upon strong performance and conduct and availability of funds, may be renewed for up to one year.
