Job Description:

The Department of Political Science at the University of Florida, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenured (Associate or Full) Professor in American Politics, to hold the Manning Dauer Eminent Scholar Chair, beginning August 16, 2024.

The Department seeks to hire faculty broadly engaged in scholarly research that is field-bridging, adding to our long tradition of intellectual diversity and pluralism. The successful candidate will be tenured upon hire as an Associate or Full Professor and is expected to teach one American Politics course each fall and spring semesters, with at least one course at the graduate level.
