The Department of Emergency Medicine is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for our brand new Microhospital in Ocala, Florida. We are currently seeking multiple full-time Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide exceptional care This emergency department provides the full scope of emergency patient care and services utilizing a novel care model.

  • Fewer than 10,000 visits per year estimated for the first year

Our brand-new Microhospital is located in beautiful North Central Florida's southernmost county, Marion County, and is home to the Ocala Metropolitan area. Ocala is home to its namesake, Ocala National Forest, which is the southernmost forest in the continental United States and is the largest sand pine forest in the world. Located in what is known as “the Horse Capital of the World,” Ocala has plenty of beautiful horse farms and outdoor recreational activities available in its boundaries, including Silver Springs State Park, Ocala National Forest and the Florida Trail.

Expected Salary:

Salary is commensurate with education and experience

Minimum Requirements: Licensed to practice medicine in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes* plus four years of appropriate experience. Completion of a residency program may substitute for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine

Qualified for licensure in the State of Florida

Federal DEA Certification
