The Department of Emergency Medicine is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for our brand new Microhospital in Ocala, Florida. We are currently seeking multiple full-time Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide exceptional care This emergency department provides the full scope of emergency patient care and services utilizing a novel care model.
Key details about this position:
- Fewer than 10,000 visits per year estimated for the first year
- 12 – 12-hour shifts per month
- Facilitated transfer for patients to higher-level care
- Work alongside a collaborative group of team members

Our brand-new Microhospital is located in beautiful North Central Florida's southernmost county, Marion County, and is home to the Ocala Metropolitan area. Ocala is home to its namesake, Ocala National Forest, which is the southernmost forest in the continental United States and is the largest sand pine forest in the world.
