Job Description:

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Florida is seeking outstanding, motivated faculty members who are interested in starting/continuing a career in academic physiatry. The Department is looking for a board eligible/certified physiatrist interested in joining a rapidly growing PM&R Program at one of the premiere medical centers in the South and a top 5 ranked public University. As we are continuing to grow and expand, we are looking to recruit two new faculty members to join the Department.

Due to our rapid growth, we have multiple areas of need including:

  • Rehabilitation Hospital Service Coverage
  • Traumatic Brian Injury/Stroke
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Limb Loss/Amputee
  • General PM&R
  • Inpatient Consults
  • Integrative Medicine.

The successful candidate must be an MD or DO board eligible/certified physiatrist with strong clinical and interpersonal skills, a commitment to academic physiatry, including resident and medical student teaching, and scholarship.

These positions will be Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor on a tenure or non-tenure accruing track. 

Expected Salary:  Commensurate with experience and academic qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

 MD or DO board eligible/certified physiatrist.
