UF Health Pathology Laboratories (UFHPL) Student Health Care Center Core Laboratory Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and performing specialized testing in the areas of point-of-care, chemistry, immunology, urinalysis, hematology, and coagulation in a CAP accredited laboratory system. This position is responsible for the performance, quality, and accuracy of the results reported; maintenance of instrumentation, including scheduled, preventive, and troubleshooting, as needed; preparation of standards, calibrators, and reagents; and adherence to the laboratory's quality management program, including quality assurance activities and coordination for multiple sites. This position will assume administrative duties in supervising operations and personnel at multiple sites, including the UFHPL Student Health Care Center Core Laboratory, including blood draw, and Point-of-Care testing sites. This position will also contribute to test performance, quality improvement projects, and strategy and laboratory expansion of the UFHPL Core Laboratory.
