Job Description:
Postdoctoral Position – Hoffman Lab @ University of Florida
A post-doctoral position is available immediately in the Hoffman Lab in the Division of Cell and Molecular Therapy. The overall research program for the Hoffman Lab is developing novel immunotherapies for autoimmune diseases through immune tolerance induction, Regulatory T cells (Tregs) and adeno-associated virus (AAV) gene therapy. The lab employs a diverse array of state-of-the-art tools to accomplish these goals.
The research is fast-paced and exciting, the lab is modern and well-equipped, and there are excellent
opportunities for advanced training in relevant techniques.

Expected Salary:

$53,760-$65,292 based on experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Ph.D. degree in Immunology (preferred), Molecular/Cell biology, or other Biology related field. A strong interest in research, as well as excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate should have a strong background in immunology and/or gene therapy. 
Experience working with EAE or other mouse models of disease.
The ability to individually implement and conduct experiments. Experience in flow cytometry, in vivo/ex vivo immunoassays, IHC/IF techniques is desired, but not required.
