Job Description: |
The Department of Surgery at the University of Florida is recruiting a tenure or non-tenure track surgeon to join the Section of Minimally Invasive Surgery in the Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery. Academic rank will be awarded based upon the career stage and development of the candidate.
This new physician will join the section’s three full-time surgeons with a reputation of excellence in patient care, education, and clinical research. The institution has made a substantial commitment to the Division, and new dedicated operating suites and robotic systems. Applicants will be provided dedicated time to pursue academic interests.

Expected Salary: |
Salary is negotiable based on education and experience.

Minimum Requirements: |
MD degree or equivalent; American Board of Surgery certification or eligibility;

Preferred Qualifications: |
Preferred Qualifications:
--Subspecialty training in minimally invasive foregut surgery: bariatric procedures; anti-reflux procedures; Para esophageal hernia repair; operations for gastric malignancy
-Upper endoscopy experience
-Research experience
