Job Description:

The Department of Health Services Research, Management, and Policy and the Clinical Translational Science Institute at the University of Florida invite applications for one Postdoctoral Associate position in team science, program planning, and evaluation.

The Postdoctoral Associate will work with the UF Clinical Translational Science Institute (CTSI) Evaluation Director on designing and executing program planning and evaluation projects. The Postdoctoral Associate will also contribute to the science of team science initiatives at the UF CTSI. The incumbent will participate in the development and management of team science trainings and interventions, provide academic and programmatic support, develop instruments and track metrics to evaluate the impacts of team science education and practices, and contribute to the science of team science through publications and presentations. Incumbent will have access to CTSI career development opportunities, including career development workshops and K College grant writing program.

This is a time-limited position that will be renewed annually based on the availability of funds and scholar performance. The position is expected to be available for two years with a possible extension to the third year.

Expected Salary:

$54,835 annually, commensurate with experience level and in accordance with current NIH postdoctoral salary guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates must have completed all degree requirements for an accredited PhD, or equivalent international degree program.

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD (or equivalent international degree) in Health Services Research, Evaluation, Adult Education, Public Health, Communication, Medical Sociology, Medical Anthropology, or related disciplines required by the appointment start date.

• Experience and expertise in program planning and evaluation design and data collection.
• Experience with qualitative, mixed, and small-n (under 30) study designs and methods.
• Knowledge of impact evaluation designs and methods.
• Experience in project management or program coordination are a plus.
• Knowledge in evaluation designs and approaches are plus.
• Ability to keep pace in a dynamic research environment.
• Ability to coordinate, organize, and maintain records and data sets for multiple evaluation projects.
• Independent in literature search and literature update.
• Capability of writing manuscripts.
