The University of Florida, Large Animal Hospital is recruiting for an OPS Veterinary Technician to assist with specialty service duties and patient care as assigned. The candidate must be experienced in the handling and restraint of horses. The candidate should be available Monday - Friday, for varying shifts, during the hours of 9am-4:30pm for an expected 16-32 hours per week, from December 2021 at least through February 2022. Additional hours may be required for training. In addition to the specialty service coverage, participation in the pool of OPS Technicians for after-hours on-call and hospital duty is available year-round.

Will maintain cage wash support-areas including Edstrom water rooms, gas tank rooms, storage rooms, etc.
