Human Resources Generalist I 19010900 - EG-PERSONNEL / PAYROLL Remote/Flexible
Highly responsible position in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering’s (HWCOE) Finance and Administration, Engineering Business Services (EBS) Human Resources Unit. This position will function as a primary originator for all HR transactions supporting one or more departments within HWCOE. The incumbent in this role must possess a high attention to detail with preferred demonstrated skill in PeopleSoft specifically with Personnel and Payroll transactions, possess a good working knowledge of UF personnel and payroll procedures and actions, and possess excellent communication skills both oral and written with the ability to perform duties in an independent manner. As an ePAF originator of various ePAF actions the incumbent is responsible for the processing of departmental personnel appointments (faculty, staff, OPS, GA’s) ensuring appropriate documentation is provided and accurate, assist with time and labor review and approvals, as well as payroll review and processing of appropriate actions. This position may be eligible for hybrid/remote schedule after training and if required 6-month probationary period.

The Institute for Child Health Policy (ICHP) at the University of Florida supports contracts with Texas and Florida Medicaid agencies and conducts policy research utilizing these and other health data resources. ICHP is seeking a Research Coordinator III to coordinate research and data-driven initiatives focused on evaluating access to and quality of care for Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) beneficiaries, as well as other state-focused projects. Working closely with the Director of Florida and Texas State Projects, the Research Coordinator III will play a key role in advancing the strategic goals of these initiatives, ensuring the successful execution of research objectives, and effectively communicating key findings. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring project commitments are met on time, supporting the management of a large, dynamic team, and contributing to project analysis and strategy. This individual will be proficient in working with healthcare data, creating PowerPoint presentations, and drafting issue briefs, while possessing a solid understanding of health policy. Strong analytical skills and communication abilities are essential for success in this role. The Research Coordinator III will collaborate with internal and external research partners to refine study methodologies, synthesize data reports, present findings, and track project deliverables. The position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate strong collaborative communication skills, engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, and exercise independent judgment to drive project success. Additionally, the role will involve coordinating infrastructure support, including managing data protocols and facilitating compliance with regulatory standards.
