| Job Description: |
Provides day-to-day oversight of all MIECHV program activities and initiatives. Recruits, trains and directly supervises a team of Parent Educators. These positions implement the Parents as Teachers (PAT) model, emphasizing parent-child interaction, development-centered parenting and family well-being in their work with families.
Establishes and maintains collaboration with community partners. Provides presentations to community agencies and groups. Develops formal and informal cooperative agreements with community agencies, and maintains sound community relationships. Actively participates in interagency and community coalition meetings.
Maintains records in accordance with program standards. Prepares and submits all required MIECHV reports by established deadlines. Performs program assessments and evaluations for quality assurance to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Coordinates data collection and statistical reporting.
Facilitates ongoing program planning and development. Develops and implements policies and procedures required to carry out project activities and to meet the requirements for participation in the MIECHV program. Assures that all contract requirements are met. Plans, prepares and monitors annual budget and requests amendments as needed. Attends all required MIECHV meetings and trainings.
Performs other related duties as required.

| Expected Salary: |
$58,000.00 to $62,000.00 annually

| Required Qualifications: |
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and five years of experience in program management. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. |
| Preferred: |
Bachelor's degree in human services (social work, psychology, sociology, early childhood, or nursing). Four years of experience in maternal child health and concepts of child abuse and neglect. Administrative and supervisory experience in human service programs. Proven leadership skills. Experience in home visitation with a strong background in primary prevention services for children. Experience in providing services to differing communities/families and the ability to be sensitive and appropriate. Believes in and is comfortable with advocating for nurturing, non-violent discipline of children.
