FWS Student Assistant-CARE-Dean of Students Office 

• This position is open to students with federal work study and available to work on the main campus in Gainesville. 
• Students must maintain a minimum of a 2.5 GPA and be enrolled for at least six credit hours a semester. 
• Must be able to commit to 10-20 hours per week to this position.

CARE Student Assistants deliver support to fellow students in distress. Primary duties include:   

• Providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, and family members
• Scheduling meetings for students and families with CARE staff members  
• Collecting and entering pertinent information into student of concern reports or referrals  
• Supporting the processing of medical petitions
• Assisting with various special projects and administrative tasks

$13.00/hr.

• Provide documentation of Federal Work Study  
• Pay rate is $13.00/hour, then $14.00 starting Sept. 30, 2025
• Applicants must be available to work between 5-20 hours/week 
• Must maintain minimum GPA of 2.5  

• Personable with great verbal and written communication  
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, interact professionally  
• Willingness to work in a team environment  
• Effective writing and organizational skills  
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite  

This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus through Federal Work Study.
