We are seeking a reliable and engaging individual to join our team as Recreational Boating Surveyors. Surveyors will intercept recreational boaters in pairs and administer a standardized questionnaire using electronic tablets (provided). Surveys will be conducted at selected boat launch sites in Citrus County, Florida, with an estimated travel time of up to 1 hour and 40 minutes one-way from Gainesville. Applicants must be able to travel independently in their own vehicle to these off-campus locations. We will maintain a weekly sampling schedule for one year and assign surveyors to specific sites, days, and time slots in advance to support planning. However, flexibility is essential, as assignments may vary weekly. This part-time role involves up to one shift per week, scheduled according to a sampling plan, with each shift lasting 4 hours plus estimated travel time. Compensation is $15 per hour, including travel time and mileage reimbursement.

This position will be responsible for day-to-day coordination of the HealthScreen project, funded by the Florida Department of Health Cinotti grant program. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the HealthStreet Director of Operations and coordinate with the Mobile Health Vehicle team at the UF CTSI to schedule outreach events. They will also oversee planned follow-up efforts to ensure project goals are met. This position will be responsible for tracking efforts and providing reports to the project leadership and funding agency, and they will also document project protocols. Other responsibilities include attending weekly team meetings and ensuring necessary supplies are maintained, making purchase requests as needed.

Testing is performed using automated IHC staining instruments, IHC scanning and quantitation instruments, and FISH hybridization, and scanning instruments.
