The Department of Pathology in conjunction with the CTSI Biorepository is accepting application for an OPS positions. The position with a working title of OPS Laboratory Technician will assist with human specimen procurement, dissection, storage and distribution. The mission of the CTSI Biorepository is to procure, store, and distribute human specimenyays (tissue, blood, etc.) for researchers within and outside of the University of Florida. Additionally, the Biorepository provides a secure storage facility for investigator samples and clinical trial specimen management services for investigator studies.

The Clinical Pathology Laboratory within the University of Florida Veterinary Hospitals is recruiting for a Medical Technologist. The position accurately performs a variety of routine biological and chemical test procedures on blood, urine and other body fluids and tissues, from clinical and research animals. Procedures are performed in the hematology, chemistry, endocrinology, urinalysis and cytology laboratories, performs preventive maintenance and quality control on laboratory equipment, performs quality control on analytical procedures at required intervals and documents QC in the appropriate logs. This position requires a post offer health assessment.
