Job Description:

Essential functions of the job:

  • Provide program support to faculty for multiple courses in the UF COM including but not limited to distribution of course materials and verifying event schedules in coordination with the Associate Dean of Medical Education’s Assistant, the Testing Administrators, and Course and Clerkship Directors.
  • Create course module pages using the curriculum management system. Maintain and produce course documents used in the daily production of course materials. Sync schedules and documents with student calendars.
  • Maintain student and faculty rosters to build and schedule faculty, student, and course evaluations. Create and distribute evaluation reports upon request.
  • Calculate grade book total scores from exams, quizzes, and assignments as instructed by the Course and Clerkship Directors and in accordance with course syllabi. Distribute grade data within COM and to other departments in accordance with COM policy while maintaining FERPA compliance.
  • Responsible for 3rd year summative grade and test score distribution.
  • Responsible for maintaining student folders for Associate Dean for Student Affairs to prepare the Dean’s Letters.
  • Arrange and take minutes for course debriefings for assigned courses.
  • Perform backup and other duties as requested by leadership in Medical Education.

Advertised Salary:

 $13.50 - $17.50 hourly

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skilled with PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and written) with faculty, staff, and students
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects independently
  • Ability to interpret general office priorities and work assignments
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
