The University of Florida Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation is currently recruiting a board certified or board eligible adult reconstruction surgeon at the level of clinical assistant, associate or professor. This position is available either on a tenure–accruing track or a non-tenure accruing track. MD degree required. Rank and Tenure status will be determined by education and experience
Responsibilities will include primary patient care, teaching, value based care initiatives, quality improvement and research with emphasis on adult reconstruction surgery and joint replacement. The successful candidate will have completed an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency, a one-year or greater Adult Reconstruction Fellowship and passed Part 1 of the Orthopaedic Surgery Boards Examination. Salary will commensurate with experience and academic qualifications.
The anticipated start date is on or before August 1, 2017.
