Clinical Research Coordinator III
Essential functions of the job:
- Incumbent will be responsible for the daily operations of studies run in the Department of Neurology. Position will be responsible for interpreting client care and treatment, administrative rules and policies, and for recommending new and improved programs to effectively manage client care and treatment administration. Serves as liaison with health care professionals. Coordinates the provision of medical, psychiatric, and psychological services. Assists in administering annual budget grant budgets. Incumbent will be in charge of recruiting patients for the various studies and will be in charge of screening, administering questionnaires, as well as giving standardized cognitive and motor tests. Incumbent will enter data into a database and report all adverse events.
- Patient, community and health care provider education to include presentations and seminars.
- Scheduling patients into research schedule (appointment confirmation and reminders).
- Attendance of conferences/meetings as a representative of the Movement Disorders Research Program.
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prefer experience with clinical trials in UF College of Medicine.
