Job Description:

The Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine at the University Of Florida College Of Medicine invite applications for two open-rank, non-tenure faculty positions on the multi-mission, clinical track. Applicants should have an M.D. or D.O. degree and be board certified in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology; Fellowship training general surgical pathology or a surgical pathology subspecialty is highly desirable.

Primary responsibilities will involve service and clinical teaching in surgical pathology, and can be tailored based on subspecialty interests. The candidate should also have a strong track record of publication and clinical research activity.  

The University of Florida/UF Health affiliated institutions present a rich diversity of inpatient and outpatient clinical material. The successful applicant will contribute to medical student, resident and fellow training in accredited programs within Pathology. Scholarly study and investigation in the applicant's area of interest is encouraged. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. 

Advertised Salary:

Salary is negotiable; salary and rank are commensurate with experience.

Minimum Requirements:

1. M.D. or D.O. degree

2. Board certification in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP

3. Possess or be eligible for a Florida Medical license

Preferred Qualifications:

Fellowship training general surgical pathology or a surgical pathology subspecialty is highly desirable.
